The sections on this site include activities, ways for teachers to incorporate this book into their lesson plans, ways to teach about nutrition and proper eating, and The Very Hungry Caterpillar games for Preschool age children.
- This site has many different free activities. It has activities for The Very Hungry Caterpillar, but it has many other different stories as well. This site has different tabs that link to pages such as their Home Page, Freebies, Story Explorers, Letters and Sounds, Math Materials, and Inspiring Art. On the home page they have many different activities and samples of each. Story Explorers tab has PDF bundles for six different books, one being The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The PDF bundles have ideas for games, activities and worksheets for children from age 4 to 7. These bundles cost, but they are not too pricey.

Also, what your objectives are, what you need to prepare for this lesson and background and vocabulary information. After the instructions, it has an area with further exploration ideas. This site is perfect for science class.
